Aba Residents Panic On Fuel Price Hike, Blames Season


Aba residents has cried out bitterly on the recent price hike of fuel which has existed over some period of time now.

The price which sporadically moved from N145 per liter N150 in the city.

It was also learnt that the price varied on fuel stations as some of the stations sold about N155 per liter leaving cue on the stations involved.

One of the commercial driver in Aba which refused to be identified said this increment has brought to them a very bad hardship as they no longer meet up to their daily income as usual.

Some of the residents of Aba blamed the season as responsible for the sporadic increment. They explained that this has been Fuel dealers yearly routine whenever the Christmas season is approaching.

Meanwhile, the presidency has given the minister of petroleum Ibe kachukwu a matching Order to ensure that the fuel scarcity should not exceed this weekend
